Hospice Nepal, a non-political,
non profit organization was launched in year 2000, to
provide hospice service in a very humble manner. Hospice is
caring for the patients with advanced cancer when hope of
achieving cure or prolonging life no longer exists. It is
painful to see our loved ones die, but is even more
distressful to see them suffer. Thus, improving the
quality of whatever life that remains becomes paramount.
This is where Hospice helps by providing palliative care.
Hospice Nepal provides one general cabin
with six beds and two cabins for single or double
occupancies. The general beds are free and include storage
cum bed for one visitor and common bathrooms. All one needs
is a heart to help and one can find many ways to
help. It is not only about time and money; it is the little
appreciation for good things done, a smile and
a thank you to staff and volunteers. One can donate any
amount of money to the Hospice or the Trust.
The Comfort Housing (TCH) is fulfilling
its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) through
this Organization. Mr. Om Rajbhandary, along with his three
friends are the backbone of this organization, who along
with its inception, materialized this project. TCH staffs
also donate their “One day salary” to this organization
every year for this noble cause. Visit
